In 2008, the LA County Fair introduced Bark Park, a Canine Adventure, and it became one of the most talked about attractions last year. West Coast Pet Expos, LLC sponsored five (5) weeks of pet adoptions in Bark Park at the 2009 LA County Fair. The pet adoptions benefited 5 non-profit rescue organizations and have helped promote the November pet expo to over 1 million people. There have already been 25 dogs adopted into “forever homes” from this years adoption efforts!
This year's groups helping find homes for dogs in need a homes include: Mutts N Stuff, Beagles and Buddies, Riverside County Department of Animal Services, Greyhound Pets of America and the West End Shelter for Animals.
